Things have changed?!?

Sooooo... early last week we traveled on our first road trip to saskatchewan with the kids.  9 hours in the car  2 water slides later and an awesome night of visiting with some pretty awesome people and i would say the trip was a success! Proud moment. Then we woke up the morning of the 17th pumped and ready to officially start the packing . Literally put things in boxes we had  12 days to get thing done and ready before we left of our anniversary trip in Turks & Caicos .  Then we got a  call.........and an urgent email........."Brandt call us ASAP.......
"   Umm i'm not pro at this but i know  that is not good!!
So after an angry and emotional phone call from Brandt's new company  our entire world had changed!   We went from being placed in a house in a gated compound with school, amenities , And them shipping over all of our belonging right down to my kitchen wears and couches.  To living in the middle of Al Khobar(a main city in Saudi) in an apartment building  , no yard , no schools , no onsite shopping ,not shipping any of our things only taking what we could carry on to the airplane, and oh yeah here is the best part! A 2 bed room with 3 beds.....Ohka for all you thinking what the big deal?  We are a family of 5  !! Also  I really needed to take more than just my suit case to live over there! So that was a lot to take in, Day 1 of non stop tears!
Day 2 : new Company says be patient and wait until monday and we will get you as many answers as possible .....waiting crying!
Day3.....No news...AKA Limbo
Day 4(monday)........So still now answers, but they say they have requested a 3 bed for us but still no news on what will happen with all of our belonging....umm ohaka?? what am i supposed to do now?
Day 4 @ noon , we talk to our adviser again asking for more info and she leaks that we may not be in the tower/apartment  , but in the local community!   Really !! cause that seems safe right! i don't know if any of you know much about saudi and neither do i but this is what i have learned from reading
women= nothing , middle east=Scary/Dangerous  , Expat Compound=safety
So i want to be with all the other expats , not living in with the locals....EEEEKK
Well i'm sure you could imagine after this call i was calm cool and collected ...NOT   by the end of the afternoon we were looking for a new place for Brandt to work  , trying to figure out how I could move my entire house in to my mom's basement because we were now Unemployed and HOMELESS!!!   Feeling very deflated because the entire process we have felt like this was the right thing to do  , but how could this happen ?? We can't take our 3 small kids and sell everything we own and live in the middle of a potentially dangerous country with no security or protection??
umm NO  , Now what!
Day 5....7 days left to get things packed , and we receive and email saying they have found us a 3 bed room luxury condo in Dhahran tower.  3 bedroom  , 4 bathroom , laundry room , floor to ceiling windows , 36th floor with a view of the persian Golf  , weekly maid service  , 2500 SQ feet , pool , work out room , bus for the kids to school  and a 15 minute commute for Brandt to work .  Yup it's not the same as compound living but I can work with that!  My kids all have beds and a livable space that we can enjoy. And they are going to ship over our belongings my furniture is going to be in storage but at least we can take everything with us!!   So all I can say is #BLESSINGS  , It has been a low couple of days and I hope that we handled it the best ways that we could have. I know this is going to be different than we first thought but I know that it is still going to be a fun adventure!!    Back to Packing!!      21 Days till we are leaving on a jet plane
